About the VAGTC

The Victorian Association for Gifted and Talented Children (VAGTC) is an Incorporated Association, which has as its primary interest, the welfare of gifted and talented children throughout Victoria.

The VAGTC is an affiliated member of the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented Ltd (AAEGT).

 

Purpose

The purpose of the VAGTC is to support educators, parents and professionals to teach, raise, guide and advocate for gifted and talented children in Victoria.

Aims

The VAGTC aims to:

  • Provide professional development for educators through a range of seminar formats, publications and expertise.
  • Liaise with other organisations involved in supporting gifted and talented children in Victoria such as professional, educational organisations, educational institutions (public, private and catholic), state and Australian G&T organisations, parent groups and other professionals.
